2027 SFTA Symposium

Tentative Schedule includes:

Wednesday, September 22, 2027- SFTA Board Meeting. Evening reception at the Cosmosphere
Thursday, September 23, 2027- All day bus tour of our chapter covering sites in McPherson, Rice and Barton County. Dinner on their own
Friday, September 24, 2027- Speakers and Membership Meeting. Dinner TBD – Mexican Theme
Saturday September 25, 2027- Little Arkansas Rendezvous. Swanson’s Swales, Camp Grierson, Stone Corral and the Crossing and the Fry Ruts are all within about a 1 mile radius. Wagon rides between sites, with Buffalo Soldiers, Cavalry, Mountain Men and Trail traders. Lunch at the site. Possible DAR rededication of some of the markers at the Little Arkansas Crossing.. Banquet in Hutchinson in the evening.
